A VC: 2007: The End Of The Page View

I certainly agree that page views are going away as THE metric used in evaluating websites, but I wonder what will replace them. Will it be times served (for widgets)? Will it be a combo of vistors and time per visit? What about just looking at attention on a page with something like crazy egg?
